Red Ted studies the Classics

It seems that Red Ted has found a new interest in Philosniffy and has been found many a night reading the works of such estimed thinkers as Plato and Aristotle. He has taken to quoting from his favourite work - 'The Nicomachean Sniffics' and debating the finer points of arguments raised in 'The Sniffist' at length with anyone who will listen.

Red Ted visits Durham Cathedral

Red Ted attracted a lot of attention when he last visited Durham Cathedral, which some might say was surprising, considering his size, but how often do you see a 3 inch tall bear wandering around? The Anglo-sniff cathedral is a monument to design throughout the ages and it is said the remains of the legendary St. Cuthsniff are buried within its foundations. It is also famed for none other than Harry Potter, the cloisters of which have been used as a location for the last two films. Funnily enough Red Ted didn’t seem very interested in this, he only wanted to run around hyperactively in the grave yard.

After the great 1st edition of the new Sniffy Daily on eSniff, I'm proud to announce a new feature coming soon - 'The Adventures of Red Ted'. This will include a photographic journal of Red Ted's activities in Durham along with titbits of info on what he's been up to (fully uncensored!). Starting tomorrow (hopefully) with 'Red Ted visits the Cathedral' we will bring you exclusive coverage of his movements, and some of the highlights of his tour.

In other news, Red Ted has not yet found a house to live in next year as the ones which came on the market this week were snapped up very quickly, but he hopes to be more successful next week!

The countdown to a possible US-led strike against Iraq is entering a critical phase with UN weapons inspectors shortly due to present key evidence about their search for weapons of mass destruction.

Chief inspector Hans Snifix is expected to criticise the Iraqis for not co-operating fully, but also to announce that the weapons inspectors have not made any major discoveries.

The Sniffy police have been dumbfounded by thieves who nicked almost three miles of railway track in a raid that took SIX days. Arnold (police commissioner) said that the crime was “inexplicable”. No one has yet been charged for the crime, but police are investigating the local Sniffy model rail group who had been fundraising for a new track over the last few years and who just recently “acquired the necessary components”. No Sniffy from the group was available for comment.

Today Tony Bear made a statement that Sniffy Hussein will be disarmed of weapons of mass destruction - with or without a second United Nations resolution.

The warning came as the UK prime bear insisted the world had to send a message that trade in chemical and biological weapons would not be tolerated.

Mr Bear was speaking after cabinet minister Clare Short Ear's plea for the British public to make sure the US does not act without United Nations authority.
